While small, James Richardson International Airport is a central hub for some very interesting aircraft. Being a central hub in North America, Winnipeg is privileged to have a wide range of cargo jets utilizing our runways. In addition, we have several airlines that service our airport that fly to destinations across North America as well as the entire globe on a regularly scheduled basis.
The goal of Winnipeg Plane Spotting is to be a resource to avid spotters as well as inspire a passion for plane spotting in people who haven't yet discovered what it is all about. We hope the readers of this blog share the same passion for aviation and aircraft as we do.
In addition to highlighting effective locations and techniques to have successful spotting ventures, Winnipeg Plane Spotting will frequently update it's content with our own authors' photos and reports from their own spotting excursions. Hopefully together, we can spot some unique aircraft while enjoying the frequent stops of YWG's regular aircraft.
